T-shirt design in Pt Chev School blue!

Jenny Walker says "I really loved this design as it incorporated so many of the elements that many students had drawn. There is a bounce in his step, a huge smile on his face, he is living life and having fun. There is the sun, tree, nature, coyle park and a child enjoying the experience of flying a kite. The design itself is cartoon like and translates well onto a t-shirt. I feel this one really expresses what life is about and the 'and bird' made me laugh :) so cute! Point Chevalier School t-shirt competition

YBe Fashion Design Gallery challenged the children of Pt Chev school to design a t-shirt about their life, art, nature, culture, community, family and living in Point Chevalier. The children created wonderful designs that really expressed their connection with Pt Chev and What life is all about for them. It was very difficult for Jenny Walker to choose a winner from the hundreds of amazing designs and some were too detailed to translate to screen-print onto a t-shirt.

The WINNER is Daniel Cameron who has best depicted 'What life is about in Pt chev' through his fun activity at Coyle Park. Joint runners up were Victoria Cammel and Joshua Horne.  Click on Daniel's design to visit the photo gallery.

Jenny Walker is back from Japan!

Hi lovely Y Be people!

I had a brilliant time in Japan! Caught up with lots of friends from when I lived there 8 years ago and soaked up the inspiration of beautiful Kyoto and soaked in the onsen in the mountains in the north.
