MARCH @ YBe

THOUGHT OF THE DAY:

"Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes but they don’t quit." -Conrad Hilton

THE YEAR IS IN FULL SWING – MARCHING ON IN

Everything is underway, everyone is busy. Have you started on all your plans yet? How long is your list of things to do? Make sure you set priorities and keep on ticking them off each day. Remember this is an eventful year, so it will help to be organized and have a plan and structure to follow. Think of theRPA approach to making sure you are on track: Results, Purpose and Action. What is the end RESULT you want to get to? What is the PURPOSE for doing this? And what ACTIONS are you going to take to achieve it?

Just 3 lessons of drawing in a relaxed atmosphere helped to kick-start the art degree that I'd struggled with for almost a year! I can look at a blank sheet of paper without trepidation; I now 'see' the many possibilities & can draw freely. Thank you, Jenny - for your patience in nurturing individual creativity & sharing your skills.

SPEAKING OF FASHION…

With the arrival of Autumn, I have already received a number of custom design orders for pants and jackets. I have designed some really groovy short and long jackets. As always Y Be ensures the perfect fit for you. Come in and see me, winter is just around the corner.

BRINGING NEW WORDS INTO FASHION.

Have you ever noticed that many sayings, idioms and expressions are so out of date it’s not even funny. Many of them have such negative connotations and no longer reflect our modern lifestyles and the 21st century. Such as: killing two birds with one stone, or hold the fort, Could we not be saying this in a more positive light and more relative to our time?

*Your YBe challenge for this month is to share an old saying and replace it with something more relevant and positive.

Words have power in them and we all need to be more aware of what we are expressing. Let’s see if we can launch some new sayings into our everyday lives.

“Be Impeccable With Your Word. Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.” Don Miquel Ruiz.

LOVE LOVE LOVE WINNING QUOTE!!!

"Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile."

Marion Jones was the winner of the Valentine’s day heart keyring with the above quote! Congrats Marion! Thank you to everyone for their participation.

WINNER FOR FEBRUARY: Linda Lucy Haines, Luxury Pure Perfumery draw.

Maryann Pennington. Yay! Congrats on winning the Fantail body balm. Go after your dreams with joyfulness.

Summer ends, Autumn begins, but YBe remains your year round favourite Fashion destination!

See you in store soon!!!

Have a fun St Patrick’s day!
