Fashion and Entertainment community event
“UNLEASH Your Brilliance!”
Inspired by and Dedicated to
The Year of the Tiger
(and supporting the Tiger Projects at the Auckland Zoo)
Wednesday 8 September, 2010,
Doors open 6.30pm, Start 7pm.
At Te Mahurehure Marae, 73 Premier Ave, Pt Chevalier.
This is a Feast of Fashion, Music, Dance and Expression.
We are celebrating the creativity, passion and talent of the Point Chevalier community.
Jenny will show her exciting new Tiger Collection range in a catwalk presentation with models of all ages and ethnicity. Clients will also show their YBe Custom Designs.
Guests will be treated to Jenny’s earlier New Zealand Collection which won her the acclaimed Supreme Award at the prestigious Style Pasifika in 2003.
Keisha Castle-Hughes will do a repeat ‘performance’ of the same Tiki dress she wore at the Independent Spirit Awards in Los Angeles in 2004 for “Whale Rider”.
Live music, spectacular dance, poetry, visual & performance art, will contribute to a night of visual and audio excitement. A light supper will be served following the show.
This “must see” event has the support of over 20 local businesses, a volunteer cast and crew of outstanding young talent from Point Chevalier (and neighbouring communities).

Pecha Kucha Night is an event that happens in over 300 cities in which presenters give brief presentations accompanied by 20 images, each of which is shown for 20 seconds. Presenters are usually from the design, architecture, photography, art, music and other creative fields expressing their journey in their field of expertise.
