Happy birthday to YBe Fashion Design Gallery!

Yay it's been one year since the doors opened to the empty space at the end of Point Chevalier road that was to become YBe and Jenny Walker's second home. And so the story begins....

As the spring moved toward summer many locals were curious about the custom design fashion in the YBe windows in front of the huge green curtains. With many jewellers and artists assisting with the launch of a design gallery with a collective approach that supported their work. During the summer wedding garments dominated Jenny's custom design work as well as mother of the bride designs. More event wear is an exciting process for any fashion designer as Jenny loves to collaborate with styles that complement clients personalities and have a YBe element.

By August the Obi-panel project was gaining momentum and the launch party marked the first step to influencing the fashion industry with a fusion of Japanese and Pacific cultures. The friends and family support is amazing and Jenny is very happy that her first birthday is a celebration of YBe's success in Point Chev. Next step the world ;o) WATCH THIS SPACE!

This is the YBe space before the Jenny Walker make-over...
