Screenprinting workshop -NOVEMBER

Yay it's time for another workshop!

I have had many enquiries as to when I would be holding the next Screenprinting workshop at YBe. It will be held in November - 3 x Thursday evenings. 11, 18 and 25th of November. So please let me know your expression of interest for attending.

Let friends know and lets get a group together :) FUN!!! I will teach you how to draw your design, cut it out and Screenprint into fabric. It is very crafty and a lot of fun always had by all. People still talk about the previous ones and what they accomplished in the 3 classes.

THREE WEEK COURSE: NOVEMBER 2010

Week One:          Thurs 11^th Inspiration & Design             7-8.30pm

Week Two:          Thurs 18^th Planning & Preparation         7-8.30pm

Week Three:        Thurs 25^th Screen prep & Printing         7-8.30pm

Time:   7.00pm - 8.30pm

Cost:    $100.00 (includes all 3 workshops)

Jenny Lyn Walker: Fashion Designer & Inspirational Motivator. Talking about what I am doing here at Y Be with designing clothes for people to help express who they are and to feel good in what they wear. Also helping inspiring people to fulfil their dreams and understand and eliminate the forces that hold them back. I will tell of my journey to the “UNLEASH Your Brilliance!” Fashion & Entertainment show I held on 8/9/10 in Pt Chevalier and how it all came into being. “When You can Be the Best that You can Be, Everything comes to You” - Jenny Lyn Walker.

Ian Montangees: BEngineering, MArchitectural Studies. Will be explaining how his “White Roofs Project NZ” is a SIMPLE and AFFORDABLE idea, offering a way to help reduce Global Warming.

Ian will tell us of his journey up to the launch of the project on 10/10/10 and the continuation and growth of it from this point. How we can all in our own way do something to help/heal the world whilst also helping/healing ourselves in the process. There is a Bright White future ahead of us all. Let’s all take part in it!

Linda Lucy Haines: Traditional Perfumer & Aroma-therapist - Will be talking about her Luxury Pure Perfumery, the journey to fruition and the amazing properties of the range and the poetry connection.

An amazing experience for You! Linda will show and tell us how these are more than Perfumes, they are Transformational Aromas helping You to connect with the Harmony within and thus Your Higher Self, Your True Self, The Self You were Born to Be.

Pecha Kucha Night is an event that happens in over 300 cities in which presenters give brief presentations accompanied by 20 images, each of which is shown for 20 seconds. Presenters are usually from the design, architecture, photography, art, music and other creative fields. Giving a total presentation time of 6 minutes 40 seconds for each speaker where they express their journey in their field of expertise.
